Birds of Prey come in all shapes and sizes. These are the "little" ones, but include the fastest animal on earth, the Peregrine Falcon.

  1. Merlin: You can find the small Merlin or the large Golden Eagle in the Coyote Valley, as well as other raptors in abundance.
  2. White-tailed Kite: You often see Kites "kiting" over this South Bay marsh, or perched in the top of an isolated tree.
  3. Peregrine Falcon: This beautiful male Peregrine Falcon shared a tree with a female a few years ago. They brought their "meals" here to consume in glorious color.
